The easiest way to get here is to fly direclty from the UK, flights arrive twice daily in the peak season, early morning, or later evening from most UK airports. Easyjet, Ryan Air, Thompson, all offer services to the island.

If this is your first trip here, our advice would be to get here sooner rather than later, its a lot easier to see where you are going on your first day in the daylight

The resort of Cala d'Or is part of the municipal district of Santanyí, on the southern half of the east coast of Majorca. It is a modern purpose built resort that has grown from a small traditional Mallorcan fishing village. Over the years the resort has expanded, and now covers an area of over 4km of small sandy coves and creeks whilst maintaining  the feeling of a small village with few, if any, high rise buildings.

One of the most striking features of Cala d'or is the marina at Cala Llonga, which has moorings for 565 vessels up to a maximum length of 20 metres.  You cannot fail to miss this marina as our apartment looks directly over it.
